Ayo Kahan Se Ghanashyam

I have been going over many hundreds of film and audio clips, and there are very few which actually excite me; this is one. It certainly does not reflect a chaste interpretation of Khammaj as per a traditional kheyal. However, it is a remarkably accurate reflection of an interpretation that was common among thumree singers in the early to middle part of the 20th century. If thumree is your thing, pay very careful attention to this one.
