Na To Karavan Ki Taalash Hai

This starts off in a surprisingly pure rendition of Kalavati, but very quickly some mixing starts. I would especially like to draw your attention to a very prominent, very beautiful, yet very un-kalavati-ish presence of the Shuddha Nishad. There is also a slight presence of a Shuddha Madhyam; but it’s presence is fleeting and not really sufficient to destroy the Kalavati mood. At the risk of over-simplifying, we could say that the song itself is a cracking good Kalavati/Khammaj mix with strong Kalavati interludes
